Plan Vivo Approved Approach
Taking Root’s Approved Approach provides a robust method for quantifying and reporting the carbon in live forest biomass under Version 4.0 of the Plan Vivo Standard. The Approach provides rigorous scientific methods to verify the impact of reforestation, afforestation, and agroforestry interventions with smallholder farmers by enabling carbon estimates to be generated using only a mobile phone, web browser, and measuring tape.
