Restoring Chile’s native forest landscapes

Currently in development, the Bosques Nativos Chilenos project is helping small and medium-sized landowners in Biobío, La Araucanía, Los Ríos, and Los Lagos restore native, biodiverse forests. In partnership with local experts at Agrupación de Ingenieros Forestales por el Bosque Nativo (AIFBN), landowners receive the training and resources to establish mixed-species, polyculture forests. These forests revive critical habitats, open access to local wood markets, and deliver durable carbon removals for the benefit of people and the planet.
