Building a climate resilient future in the Dominican Republic
Currently in development, the Sembrando Futuro project works with smallholder families in sensitive watersheds to implement sustainable agricultural production systems. Alongside local project implementer Floresta Incorporada, a member of the Plant With Purpose Global Partnership, Sembrando Futuro grows cacao agroforestry with smallholder farmers to restore forests, improve livelihoods, and build a climate resilient future for those amongst the most vulnerable to the climate crisis.
